In the enchanting and suggestive Cervino basin, 350 kilometers of slopes await you, at exclusive altitudes with always winter snow. Our instructors will be worthy travel companions on excursions to nearby Zermatt and Cervinia, as well as uncompromising professionals to whom you can entrust your dreams of technical improvements and approach to skiing.
You can choose between the new techniques of skiing or the classic ones, alpine skiing / freeride, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering and snowshoeing. OUR HISTORY
We are in 1965, in Valtournenche there is only one chairlift that starts from the town and one available teacher, Ivonne Perron the first!
During the festivities, people multiply and the teachers of the School come to help Cervino, Luigi Gaspard, Alfonso Pession, Marco Pession and Livio Meynet, then finally also Giovanni Carrel Giuliana Cerise and Ivonne Barmasse. We are not yet a real school but a branch of the Scuola del Cervino.
To become officially, however, we do not wait long and in 1968 we record the foundation of the “Valtournenche ski school”.
We must take a necessary step back, we are in 1911 and one is created in Valtournenche of the oldest ski clubs in Italy.
To date, almost 60 years in business, our school has 25 teachers, we organize group courses in the periods of Christmas, Carnival and Easter by counting
on average 450 registrations. We organize annual seasonal courses with 60 children. We collaborate with a Belgian tour operator by organizing weekly courses. The our specialties are Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross Country Skiing and Telemark.
We have 2 locations (one in the center of Valtournenche and one directly at the arrival of the cable car on the slopes) where you can come and visit us and get to know us and why not, be part of ours family and write other pages of this fantastic story together.

The lesson must be paid in advance and the cancellation must be communicated in any case, even if payment has not been made because the teacher has been busy.
Please notify the school in advance if you do not participate in the lesson even in the case of booking with insurance.

The duration of the lesson is 55 minutes.
Lessons are held in any weather condition; in the event that an installation closes due to a breakdown or other reasons, the lessons will be moved to the functioning systems.
In case of cancellation, this must be received by the office by 12.00 on the day before the start of classes. The amount paid will be recovered in subsequent lessons subject to availability. In no case will the money be refunded. In the event that the lessons are canceled after 12.00 or on the same day, these will not be refunded.
Absence: in case of delay or absence on the part of the pupil at the fixed appointment, the lesson will not be refunded or made up.
Minors: in the case of lessons with children under the age of 18, they must be accompanied and taken back to the place of appointment by a parent or companion as long as they are of age.
Helmet: under 18, the use of a helmet is mandatory. However, its use is recommended for all ages!
